ClearHire AI (“ClearHire,” “we,” “us” or “our”) provides an AI-powered hiring-assistant software-as-a-service platform (“Platform”) that helps employers and recruitment teams surface, evaluate and communicate with job candidates more efficiently. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard Personal Data when you (i) visit www.clearhireai.com, (ii) create an account or log in to the Platform, or (iii) otherwise interact with us.


1 Definitions

Term Meaning
Personal Data Any information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual.
Customer The business entity that subscribes to the Platform and controls how candidate data is processed.
Candidate A job applicant whose data is processed by the Platform on behalf of the Customer.
Controller / Processor As defined under the EU GDPR. Customers are Controllers of Candidate data; ClearHire acts as their Processor.


2 Scope

  • This Policy covers data that ClearHire processes as a Controller (e.g., account, billing and marketing data).
  • Candidate data ingested into the Platform is processed as a Processor under the Customer’s instructions and the applicable Data Processing Addendum (DPA).


3 What We Collect

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.


4 How We Use Personal Data

5 Disclosure to Third Parties

  • Service providers — cloud hosting (AWS eu-west-1 / us-east-1), email delivery (SendGrid), payment processing (Stripe).
  • Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants, auditors.
  • Legal requirements — to comply with subpoenas, court orders or defend our rights.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or asset sale (we’ll notify you).

We never sell Personal Data.


6 International Transfers

Data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or EU, each protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and ISO 27001-certified data centres. Customers can request EU-only storage.


7 Retention

8 Security

  • AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit
  • Role-based access control (RBAC), SSO / SCIM options
  • 99.95 % uptime SLA; nightly backups
  • Annual SOC 2 Type II audit & PEN tests


9 Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your Personal Data and to object or restrict certain processing.
Submit requests to privacy@clearhireai.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.


10 Marketing Communications

You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in those emails or by emailing privacy@clearhireai.com.


11 Changes to This Policy

We will post any revisions on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days in advance.
